The Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, plans to issue solicitation IFB 149-0069 for the resurfacing of roadway(s) at the Federal Correctional Institution, Texarkana, Texas. The successful contractor will be required to furnish all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to install a two (2) inch type C asphalt surface and tack coat on ninety-nine thousand (99,000) square feet of existing gravel/clay base perimeter roadway. A pre-bid conference will be scheduled at a later date. The estimated magnitude of this contract is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The solicitation package will be available on or about October 30, 1996, with an anticipated bid opening of on or about December 2, 1996.
