Z -- REPAIRS TO HOUSING UNITS SOL N62477-96-B-2609 POC Robert E. Dungan, Contracting Officer 540/653-3360 This project is unrestricted. The work includes but is not limited to providing and installing new exterior doors and windows in 15 houses, new windows in 10 houses, new windows and vinyl siding in 26 houses, new exterior doors, windows and vinyl siding in 74 houses and incidental related work. All houses shall receive new exterior and interior window and door trim. The houses indicated as being within the Dahlgren Residential Historic District shall receive new wood window and door trim to exactly match the existing wood trim. The duration of the contract is 270 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $2,500,000. This will be a Request for Proposal. If the successful offeror is a large business, a subcontractor's plan will be required prior to award. The projected date for availability of solicitations is 15 days from synopsis. The projected date for bid opening is 30 days from release date. Cost of bid documents is $15.00 per set for specifications. No cash will be accepted.
