Provide the labor, equipment, materials and testing to bring the fracture critical welds of the ten (10) spillway bulkhead gates at the Cheatham Power Plant to present bridge welding codes (ANSI/AASHTO/AWS D1.5-95). The job will consist of removing the existing welds, rewelding the structure then testing the final welds for compliance. Each of the gates are approximately 61'6" wide x 5'5" high x 4' deep and each weighs about 37,000 pounds. The lead paint on the designated welds has been removed. The gates can be repaired on site or may be moved to another site for the repairs. The work should be repaired within 120 days after award of the contract. The vendor is required to submit with their bid a listing of certified, qualified welders meeting the requirements to perform the work in this synopsis as specified in the solicitation to be considered responsive.
