The work includes replace existing domestic water booster pump in Building 601; remove portions of existing piping and provide new piping; Electrical work includes installation of a new breaker in an existing panel in Building 601; In Building 603, first floor, remove portions of existing piping and provide a new 6" backflow preventer in parallel with the existing 6" backflow preventer. The project includes work with lead containing paints; Asbestos containing materials are located near the area of work. Removal of asbestos containing materials is not included in this contract. This solicitation will be issued on an UNRESTRICTED basis. Estimated cost is between $25,000 and $100,000. Estimated duration of contract is 135 days for completion. Plans and specifications will be available on or about 7 July 1997. A COST OF $23.00 IS APPLICABLE FOR THE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
