ELIMINATION OF HARD COPIES OF REQUEST FOR QUOTES AT DEFENSE SUPPLY CENTER, COLUMBUS Effective immediately, Request For Quotes (RFQs) for all proposed contract actions below the simplified acquisition threshold ($100,000) will be available to the public on the World Wide Web. The site address is http://www.dscc.dla.mil. All vendors and interested parties will be able to search, view, download, and print solicitations by Federal Supply Class, Part Number, Nomenclature, National Stock Number, Purchase Request Number, Solicitation Number and Approved Cages. This electronic posting of solicitations satisfies the public display and availability requirements of FAR Part 5. The DSCC Industry Coordination Office, DSCC-PBAB, will, however, continue to honor requests for copies of RFQs for a period of 30 days after the effective date. This does not apply to solicitations using other than simplified procedures (i.e., Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Invitations for Bids (IFBs).
