R -- DRAFT RFP FOR CMAH SOL F04606-98-R-0001 DUE 120197 POC For copy, contact the info office indicated., For additional information contact Law.2al/Pkl-3/[916]643-2817 This is a notification for release of a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) for the Commander-in-Chief Mobile Alternate Headquarters (CMAH) program. The air Force has revised the estimated award date to the 4th qtr of FY98 for the operation of Government Owned, Contractor Operated (GOCO) Logistics Support Facility (LSF) located in Albuquerque NM. The Air Force intends to display a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) along with all attachments in the CMAH web site (www.mcclellan.af.mil/CMAH/)on 31 Oct 97. Comments on the DRFP should be submitted to: SM/ALC/AQ-CMAH, 3237 Peacekeeper Way, Ste 7, McClellan AFB CA 95652-1050, Attn: PCO, Stephen Law, Ph: (916)643-3340, FAX: (916)643-3236, by 01 Dec 97. In addition, the Air Force has scheduled a site visit and presolicitation conference on 15 and 16 Nov 97. The LSF facility tours will be on the first day. LSF tours will begin with a short briefing on the facility, tour rules and introductory comments. Government technical personnel will provide a guided walking tour of the main facility, out buildings and grounds. This tour will take approximated 2 hours. A new tour will start each hour (two tours will be occurring simultaneously). The first tour will begin at 8:00 AM and the last tour will begin at 4:00 PM. The second day will consist of the warehouse tour followed by a question and answer session and presolicitation conference. The warehouse tour will begin at 8:00 AM with a briefing similar to the LSF briefing. The tour will take approximately 30 minutes. The question and answer session for the LSF and warehouse is scheduled from 9:00 to 11:00 AM. The presolicitation conference is scheduled from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. The government team will brief the solicitation documents, current status and the schedule. The tentative agenda for the presolicitation conference are as follows: Statement of Objectives, Work Breakdown Structure and Dictionary, Work Description Document, Invitation for Priced Proposals, Basis of Contract Award, contract Schedule and General Provisions, and Proposal Preparation and Source Selection Schedules. All individuals wishing to participate in the site visit and presolicitation conference must possess a U.S. Secret or high security clearance or it's Department of Energy equivalent. Visit notices and certification of security clearances must be received by 11 Nov 97. This request for comments, invitation to the site visit and presolicitation conference is for informational planning purposes only in accordance with far 52.215-3. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this DRFP notice or otherwise pay for the information received as a result of this notice. The approximate issue/response date will be 31 Oct 97. No telephone requests. Only written or faxed requests received directly from the requestor are acceptable.
