This solicitation (IFB) is for Repave Shoulder Primary Runway, Project No. 94-0123, at Cannon AFB, NM. Work includes, but is not limited to, removal of ashpalt paving the length of the northwest side of Runway 22/04; preparation of subgrade, prime coating, and installation of new two inch asphalt cement concrete (acc) surface course to replace runway shoulder previously removed; and repainting of painted cheverons on shoulder. Performance period is estimated at 90 calendar days. Work on this project will be performed during non-flying hours (nights, weekends, holidays, and down days). The magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. The issue date for the IFB will be on or about 1 Jun 98. Site Visit is scheduled for 1:30 PM local time 15 Jun 98. Bid opening is scheduled for 2:00 PM on 1 Jul 98 with award on or about 20 Jul 98. All responsible sources may submit a Bid which shall be considered.
