This solicitation will be issued on an unrestrictive basis in accordance with DOD FAR Clause 252.219-7008. Replies are requested from all concerns as well as from large business concerns. The magnitude of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. Work includes but is not limited to the following: the removal of existing underground secondary service including installing new distribution panels with meter sockets, loadcenters, and refeeding existing street lighting, also covered is the connection of existing condenser units, requiring circuit breaker in NEMA 3R enclosure and all associated conduit, fittings, wire, trenching, backfilling, and paint, also provide one exterior receptacle, one interior receptacle, one switch, and one porcelain lampholder with lamp and lamp guard for each half of every storage shed, and provide power to each half from each halves respective lot loadcenter at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC 27531. The performance period is approximately 195 calendar days. Solicitations will be available on or about 29 May 98.
