The work consists of clearing & grubbing, excavation & embankment, trail obliteration, construction or restoration of grade dips, ditch construction, turnpike restoration, log check dams and water bar construction. The Cedar Creek trail is located within the North Cascades Scenic Highway Corridor, all regulations apply. Motorized/mechanicized equipment is allowed. Motorized personnel transporation is not allowed. The Louis Lake trail lies entirely within the Lake Chelan/Sawtooth Wilderness Area. Rules and regulation for Wilderness Area apply for the project.
