Carrasco Job Corps Center in El Paso, Texas. The new construction includes the new building and site utilities in the project area; installation of a new site drainage; site grading; site lighting and landscaping. The estimated cost range is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The estimated completion time is 466 calendar days. Plans and specifications will be available on or about August 5, 1998, from the Office of U.S. Department of Labor/ETA, C/O Moore Nordell Kroeger Architects, Inc. It is emphasized that requests for plans and specifications shall only be directed to Moore Nordell Kroeger Architects, Inc. to ensure proper handling of requests. Requests must be in writing, and a $100.00 refundable bid deposit is required. This bid deposit must be in the form of a certified check, cashiers check, or money order made payable to the U.S. Department of Labor, and submitted to the A/E Firm at the time of request. Request will be answered on a first-come, first-serve basis until supplies are exhausted. For requests made after the supply is exhausted, the Contracting Officer may determine whether payment of a fee is warranted. The non-refundable fee shall not exceed the actual cost of duplication of the IFB documents, plus COD charges. Pre-bid Conference is scheduled on August 20, 1998 at 10:00 A.M., local time at the David L. Carrasco Job Corps Center. Bid-opening is September 10, 1998 at 1:00 P.M., local time at the Architect/Engineering office mentioned above. This is a 100% Small Business Set Aside acquisition.
