Turbine assemblies will be installed by government personnel under the contractor's technical supervision. Wicket gate modifications, if determined to be required by the contractor's technical analysis, will be performed by the contractor. The first of 3 turbines is to be delivered by January 2000; the second December 2001, the third December 2002. The estimated range of this procurement is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. This procurement will be in accordance with the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. Contractors do not have to be a small business to submit offers. A technical proposal will be submitted and evalutated in addition to a price proposal. The solicitation is scheduled to be issued August 10, 1998.
