The proposed procurement is for the REO Design, Development and In-Service Engineering in support of the Research and Engineering Office North Island (REO NORIS), San Diego, CA. As a result of the market research, the following information is provided: (1) The solicitation advertisement will be Unrestricted, (2) FSC is R425, (3) SIC is 8711 $20.0M, (4) the formal Synopsis will be posted @11 May 99, (5) the solicitation will be issued @28 May 99 and will be available for downloading from the FISC-SD web site (www.sd.fisc.navy.mil), (6) the preproposal conference will be held at FISC-San Diego on 7 June 1999 from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M., (7) a Site Visit will be held at NADEP-NI on 7 June 1999 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., (8) the procurement is determined to be non-commercial, and (9) the proposed contract will be a Cost Plus Fixed Fee.
