Project 972004/JKSE992998, Repair Roof, Building No. 25, Main Hangar, includes but is not limited to supervision, plant, labor, equipment, materials, and incidentals to perform repair of a modified bitumen roof on Building No. 25, Main Hangar, via installation of a new mechanically fastened Chlorosulfonated Polyethylene (CSPE) single ply membrane roof system. Construction consists of, but is not limited to, removing and replacing any wet or damaged existing insulation and raising any roof curbs or vents to maintain minimum dimensions, as indicated on the drawings. Construction will consist of installing new mechanically fastened CSPE roof system along with cover board, new flashings, gutters, and any miscellaneous accessories as outlined on drawings and specifications. This project includes the removal of Asbestos Containing Materials (ACM) from the project site. All asbestos containing materials will be disposed of in accordance with all Federal and State Regulations. A complete test report can be found in the project specifications. The estimated magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 with completion within calendar days of the notice to proceed. The Standard Industrial Classification is 1761. Bid documents are anticipated to be available on or about 30 days from date of this notice. Only WRITTEN requests for drawings and specifications, accompanied by a check in the amount of $16.00 will be accepted. Make check or money order payable to United States Treasury and mail to the contract specialist listed in block 6A of this form. This is a nonrefundable charge. Telephone requests for bid packages and bidder mailing lists WILL NOT be accepted. All requests must indicate business size and minority status. Bid opening will be no less than 30 days from the date solicitation documents are available.
