The work includes but is not limited to furnishing all materials, labor, plant, tools, equipment, and services necessary and incidental to removing and replacing approximately 20,000 square meters of concrete panels in the east portion of Taxiway G (Parallel) at Laughlin AFB, TX. The work will consist of reconstruction of a 22.86 meter wide taxiway and the addition of a pull-out lane 22.86 meters wide (75 feet) X 250 meters long (820 feet). The final product will consist of 254 mm (10 inches) of concrete pavement 150 mm (6 inches) of cement treated base, and 100 mm (4 inches) drainage layer. It will also require construction of a subsurface drainage system, addition and relocation of taxiway lighting and signage. Removal of contaminated soil is a possibility. All other construction as it appears in the construction documents shall also be included in this project. Project solicitation and specifications will be made available on or about 15 Jun 99.
