This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials to repair Plew Residential Park Housing Unit, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work includes removal of certain existing exterior doors, door frames and trim; aluminum windows, wood trim and blocking; and other miscellaneous items. Installation of new metal exterior doors and new wood frames and trim. Installation of new single-hung windows and new wood blocking and trim. Painting of all new or uncovered exterior and interior surfaces, except as otherwise specified. Electrical work, including temporary removal and replacing of electrical doorbell buttons and other miscellaneous electrical items. Seeding of certain areas. Period of performance is 540 calendar days. This project includes a base bid and two additives. Additive 1 includes replacing of window shades. Additive 2 includes installation of aluminum combination storm/screen doors at front entrances. This is a "Trade-Off" Contract. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. NOTICE TO BIDDERS: Funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made under this solicitation, either before or after bid opening with no obligation to the offeror by the Government.
