Furnish all labor, equipment, devices, and materials and perform all work required for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract for various types of roofing systems maintenance and repair, including moisture surveys and miscellaneous supporting work when required. Anticipated guaranteed minimum over life of the contract: $45,000.00. Magnitude of Construction is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Minimum Delivery Order: $2,500.00, Maximum Delivery Order: $1,000,000. Anticipated contract life is three (3) years. Solicitation No. F30602-00-B-0001 will be issued ELECTRONICALLY on an unrestricted basis on or about 29 July 1999, quotes are due in AFRL/IFKO, 26 Electronic Parkway, Rome, NY 13441-4514 on or about 30 August 1999. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear significant concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. Routine questions are not considered to be "significant concerns" and should be communicated directly to the Contracting Officer, E.J. Rena, Phone 315/330-7518. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the contracting officer or program manager, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposal or in the source selection process. The Ombudsman should only be contacted with issues or problems that have not been previously brought to the attention of the Contract Specialist/Contracting Officer and could not be satisfactorily resolved at that level. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation either before or after the closing date.
