Wright-Patterson AFB, OH has a requirement to provide fleet service to 445 AW aircraft, 88 ABW Transient Alert aircraft and quarterly fleet service training to 87 APS military personnel. 17(i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services, prepared in accordance with (IAW)the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. 17(ii) Solicitation #F33601-99-R-9006 is a Request for Proposal 17(iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-12. 17(iv) This is an small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification (SIC) codeis 4581. The small business size standard is $5.0M. 17(v) This acquisition has three line items for the base year and three line items for each option contract period: Line 1 is for fleet service for 445 AW aircraft, line 2 for quarterly fleet service training for 87APS military personnel, and line 3 is for fleet service for Transient Alert aircraft. The period of performance is 1 Oct 99 -- 30 Sept 00. Four one year options may be awarded.
