NSN 5860-01-350-8551, The US Army CECOM Acquisition Center intends to procure a quantity of 215 Mini Eyesafe Laser Infrared Observation Set AN/PVS-6 (MELIOS) for the Army National Guard. Included is the purchase of ancillary equipment such as tripods, shipping cases, carrying cases, lens cleaning kit, and spare modules and piece parts to support the total fielding package. An option for 200 additional MELIOS is included for anticipated Army requirements. This acquisition will be accomplished as a new Firm-Fixed-Price contract as a sole Source to Litton, Apopka, Fl IAW FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i) See Note 22.
