E-MAIL: Bertha Burns, burnsb@eglin.af.mil. Eglin AFB has a requirement to Upgrade Fire Station #1, Building 107, Eglin AFB FL. THIS IS A "TRADE-OFF" (PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE-OFF) ACQUISITION. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with upgrading Fire Station #1, Building 107, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work consist of interior renovation of existing bunk rooms. Work includes demolition, asbestos removal, installation of new windows, new metal stud walls, new ceiling, new flooring, new plumbing fixtures for restroom, ceramic tile, signage, new mecahanical ductwork and HVAC, engine exhaust system, plumbing, and electrical which includes lighting, power, and fire alarm systems. Proposal due date of 28 January 2000 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance period is 180 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
