This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and FAR 13.5. Eglin AFB FL has a requirement for Environmental Management Support Services. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, vehicles and other items and services necessary to support Eglin's Environmental Management (EM) Directorate on a task order basis in accordance with the Statement of Work. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, but the Request for Quote (RFQ) will be available on the Federal Government's Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). The solicitation number is F08651-00-Q-0144. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-13. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code 8744; size standard $5.0. Anticipated Period of Performance: Basic Year: 05 Feb 2000 -- 04 Feb 2001; Option Year 1: 05 Feb 2001 -- 04 Feb 2002; Option Year 2: 05 Feb 2002 -- 04 Feb 2003; Option Year 3: 05 Feb 2003 -- 04 Feb 2004; Option Year 4: 05 Feb 2004 -- 04 Feb 2005. Acceptance and FOB are destination. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial, 52.212-2 (evaluation factors: technical capability, price, and past performance) applies to this acquisition. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
