This synopsis is issued for a modification to existing Contract No. DAEA32-95-D-0004 to obtain the required matrix switch equipment in order to complete the automation of the European and Okinawan technical control netwoarks, to include hardware, software and warranties through the remaining life of the contract (29 Nov 03). The matrix switch equipment being obtained under existing contract consists of the following four major components 1) the matrix switch engine, 2) the matrix switch controller, 3) the master control system, FARCOM VC 1000, and 4) a remote test monitor. This acquisition is a sole source negotiation with INRANGE Technologies, Corporation, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. SEE Note 22.
