This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, vehicles, equipment, tools, and materials and perform all work required for IDIQ Exterior Painting, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work includes Exterior painting of selected base facilities; Cleaning exterior surfaces of base facilities to remove dirt, mildew, fungus and other foreign matter; Sandblasting facility surfaces, as applicable, to remove scale, rust, cracked and chipped paint, stains and other discolorations; Caulking as required; Replacing glass and glazing compound as required. Period of performance is 365 calendar days for the Basic Year, plus four one-year options. This is a "Trade-Off" Contract. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. Firms responding should indicate if they are a small business. The above general description of work does not in any way limit responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, vehicles, equipment, tools and materials and perform all work in accordance with the specifications.
