E-MAIL: Bertha Burns, burnsb@eglin.af.mil. Eglin AFB has a requirement to Replace HVAC Systems, Building 963, Eglin AFB FL. THIS IS A "TRADE-OFF" (PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE-OFF) ACQUISITION. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with Replacing HVAC Systems, Building 963, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work will consist of removing existing air handling units, ductwork, chiller, control system and electrical wiring. The new work shall include new air handling units, ductwork, chiller, pumps, direct digital controls, ceiling replacement, electrical wiring and fire sprinkler piping. The contractor will provide complete working systems for HVAC, Electrical and Sprinkler. The work will include removing and reinstalling lights as required. 9 MAY 2000 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. Performance period is 135 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency.
