The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB, NE is seeking interested sources to participate in an acquisition for Systems Engineering, Management, and Sustainment Services for Air Force Weather Agency, Offutt AFB, NE. We anticipate services will include systems engineering, sustainment, management, systems analysis/performance metrics, requirements and life-cycle cost analysis, configuration analysis and management, logistical analysis and management. The successful contractor will be expected to partner with AFWA to manage the Air Force Weather Weapon System, to provide systems engineering support for future system enhancements, to manage the system/segment baseline, and to provide industrial best practices to optimize system performance. The government is seeking innovative ideas to manage the AFWA Weapon System, and we are seeking comments/recommendations that would reflect better ways to manage resources. The government is not interested in maintaining the status quo, unless that is the best way to manage resources, but we are seeking to implement continuous improvements to the system. Prospective offerors/teams are solicited for their comments on the Statement of Objectives (SOO), and Draft Performance Requirements Document (DPRD). The anticipated contract type will be cost-plus-award fee, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity. Task Orders will be negotiated to define specific requirements. The draft PRD reflects a general range of services desired, but the government may not order all services outlined in the draft PRD. We anticipate hosting dialogues with prospective offerors/teams to discuss acquisition strategy and offerors' recommendations on any part of this requirement.
