Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, and materials and performing all operations in connection with Repairing and Painting of Towers at Eglin AFB. In general, the work includes repairing and painting of buildings (towers). The sites of the work are the Main Base, Eglin Reservation, Site D-1A, Site D-1B and Site D-3 at Eglin AFB Force Base, Florida. Proposal due date of 25 August 2000 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $500,000 -- $1,000,000. Performance period is 300 calendar days. For your information, funds are not presently available for this project. No award will be made until funds are available to make payments under a contract. The Government reserves the rights to cancel this solicitation either before or after proposals are due with no obligation to the offeror by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. No response to this notice is necessary and no Source List will be maintained. This is a paperless acquisition.
