This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials and performing all work and all operations required for Exterior Painting of Water Storage Tanks, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work includes Exterior Painting of Four (4) Elevated Water Storage Tanks, Eglin AFB FL. Performance period is 90 calendar days. This is a "Trade-Off" contract. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low proposed price. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The above general description of work does not in any way limit responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all plant, labor, equipment and materials and perform all work and all operations in accordance with the specifications. Offer due date of 1 SEPTEMBER 2000 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued, but the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available on the Federal Government's Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov).
