The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and
materials to construct a 1525 SF addition to Building 1202 at McChord
AFB. Work will consist of extending Building 1202 to the west
approximately 44 feet, including all site work and electrical wiring.
The addition will match the exterior finish and roofline of the
existing structure. The performance period for this project is 180
continuous calendar days. The magnitude of construction of this project
is between $100,000 and $250,000. This solicitation will be issued
under full and open competition procedures on or about July 20, 2000.
The proposal due date will be on or about August 21, 2000. The
applicable SIC is 1542. The solicitation will be available on the
Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov) as well as on CD-ROM. Request
a CD by mail from 62 CONS/LGCA, PO Box 4178, McChord AFB WA 98438-0178

this acquisition is being considered for a Hubzone set-aside. If your
firm is Hubzone certified and intends to submit a proposal on this
acquisition, please provide the following information to the
contracting officer not later than 10 days after the publication of
this notice: SBA certification of Hubzone eligibility; capability
statement for firm; and a positive statement that your firm intends to
submit a proposal on this acquisition. Based on responses, the
contracting officer will make a determination if there is not a
reasonable expectation of adequate competition, the acquisition will be
