This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is M6700199Q0030. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The proposed acquisition is a small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code for this requirement is 3582 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. Item #0001: One (1) ea. Derringer Self Contained, Diesel Powered Slide In type Compressed Air Foam System. Will fit into back of standard length and width pick-up truck body. To include: Base derringer unit, skid package with poly 300/20 water, foam tank, fuel cell mounted and plmbed, electric hose reel, 100 feet of 1" reeltex hose, Elkhart Pistol Caf Valve, Diamond plate side panels, two preconnect trays plumbed and mounted to skid, one tray for minimum of 150 feet of 1.5 inch and one 50 foot of 3 inch hose. Specifications: Weifht, full of water and foam, Max 1250 lbs,size 97" x 48" W X 36" H. Water Pump Cap, Min 75 gpm @ 120 Psi, Air Compressor cap, 55 cu Ft. @ 120 psi. The engine shall be a 26 Hp Daihatsu DM 950D, 3Cylinder, 4 cycle diesel developing 26 peak Hp at 3600 RPM, 952 cubic inch displacement, water cooled, 40 amp alternator, dry cartridge air filter and muffler.
