Eglin AFB FL has a requirement to Renovate Lobby, First Floor Building 1. THIS IS A "TRADE-OFF" (PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE-OFF) ACQUISITION. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.3. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials and performing all operations in connection with Renovating the Lobby, First Floor of Building1, Eglin AFB FL. In general, the work will consist of furnishing all materials and equipment to renovate the main entrance lobby and adjacent main corridors on the first floor at Building 1. The work shall include the demolition to sections of non-load bearing interior walls, ceiling assemblies, floor finishes, surface mounted lettering/signage, wood/metal display assemblies and related HVAC/electrical components. The new work includes rough carpentry, finish carpentry, metal fabrications, interior architectural finish coatings, gypsum drywall, floor tile, suspended acoustical ceilings, aluminum storefront doors and windows, signage/lettering, display equipment and related HVAC/electrical components. Proposal due date of 7 September 2000 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. Estimated dollar range is between $100,000 and $250,000. Performance period is 90 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. This is a paperless acquisition.
