The work consists of furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and
materials to construct a new roof structure over the Squad Ops Facility
B1207, including metal roofing and steel trusses supported on a new
masonry bond beam on the existing parapets. The air-handling unit on
the existing roof is to be removed and replaced with a new pad mounted
unit at the north end of Building 1207. The performance period for
this project is 180 continuous calendar days. The magnitude of
construction of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This
solicitation will be issued under full and open competition procedures
on or about August 8, 2000. The proposal due date will be on or about
September 8, 2000. The applicable SIC is 1542. The solicitation will
be available on the Federal Business Opportunities web site
(www.eps.gov) as well as on CD-ROM. If problems are encountered

certified and intends to submit a proposal on this acquisition, please
provide the following information to the contracting officer not later
than 10 days after the publication of this notice: SBA certification of
Hubzone eligibility; capability statement for firm; and a positive
statement that your firm intends to submit a proposal on this
acquisition. Based on responses, the contracting officer will make a
determination if there is not a reasonable expectation of adequate
competition, the acquisition will be conducted under full and open
