The Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for 46 electric actuators. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-00-T-0155. This requirement is for 46ea Electric Actuators with arctic pack and lubricated with Dow Corning-33 grease; MG03 spline bushing bored with keyway mounting to damper shaft; mounting bracket and hardware; 2ea #25EN9-6 Honeywell Micro Switches; limit switch cams (2ea) and cover. P/N: FGPF-3. 480 volts. Items are required to support the McKinley Climatic Laboratory who will utilize the actuators to operate the plenum damper doors during cold and sub-zero environment testing in temperatures that can reach minus 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Items must be delivered to BAE Systems, Bldg 956, Eglin AFB, FL 32542, no later than 30 days after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis.
