The Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a sole-source firm-fixed price contract to Motorola, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), for 2 Portable VHF/UHF Transceivers. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-00-T-0152. This requirement is for 2 ea Portable VHF/UHF Transceivers with the following specifications: PRM-500: 50 Watt rack mount system including transceiver (URC-200), AC power supply (UAC-300), Interface box (UIB-100), Rack mount (URM-100), 50 Watt Power amplifier (UPA-50), Base station antenna (UVU-200), and 50' Heliax Antenna Cable (URF-B61-050). Items must be delivered to 46 TW/TSTDL Bldg 33, Eglin AFB, FL 32542, no later than 30 days after receipt of order on an FOB Destination basis. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) for this acquisition is 3663 small business size standard: 750 employees.
