Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotations (RFQ) and the solicitation number is M6700100Q0041. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code for this requirement is 8299 and the small business size standard is $5 mil. This request is for a service contract for driver education training for Camp Lejeune High School., Camp Lejeune, NC for the period of 01 Oct 2000 through 30 Sep 2001 with four 1- year option periods. Service Contract to include driver/training instruction for an estimated annual requirement of 150 students, (a) -- classroom instruction 30 hrs/student; (b) driving instruction 6 hrs/ student; (c) attempted partial classroom (rate/hr); (d) attempted partial driving (rate/hr); parent/teen seminar Quotes other than FOB Destination will be rejected. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items with alternates I and III; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders -- Commercial Items. OFFERORS SHALL PROVIDE COMPLETED COPY OF FAR 52.212-3 WITH THEIR QUOTE. The Offeror is required to provide their Contractor's DUNS Number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code with their quote. The CAGE code entered must be for that name and address provided by the Contractor. All contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) as a condition for award.
