Description

Contract for Services to provide for the sharpening of Government owned surgical Instruments, for the period 01 Oct 00 through 30 Sep 01 plus four (4) option year periods. The Solicitation number is M6700101Q0039. Estimated requirements per year are as follows: Line Item 0001; 4000 EA Sharpening and Instrument Repair, Line Item 0002; 400 EA Micro Instrument repair and sharpening, Line Item 0003; 30 EA Insert replacement for Carbide Jaws, Line Item 0004; 100 EA Sharpening of Laproscopic instruments. Estimated quantities are for the same for each option period. All services are for the Main Operating room at Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune, NC and shall be performed on site. The proposed acquisition is a small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code for this requirement is 7699 and business size standard is $5.09 million. The resultant contract award will be for a requirements type contract. All contractors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) as a condition for award.
