Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a firm fixed order in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this announcement is MDA928-00-R-0015. This requirement is for a Tennelec Series 5XLB Automatic Low Background Alpha/Beta counting System or Brand Name or equal, cpu, LP-2 inkjet printer, training, installation, service manuals. All qualified responsible business sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Quotation must include equipment specifications. Delivery to the Armed Forces Radiobiology Research Institute on or before 15 November 2000. The SIC code 3829 and 500, respectively. The quoter shall state their DUNS -- Dun & Bradstreet number, TIN-Tax Identification Number on their quotation. Quotations for the item(s) described above are due by 3:00 p.m. EST on 09/25/00 and may be mailed or faxed to: USUHS, Attn: Contracting Directorate, Kris Trump, 4301 Jones Bridge Road, Bethesda, MD 20814-4799, FAX Number: (301)295-1716. Include in quotation, proposed delivery schedule, discount/payment erms, warranty duration and signed by an authorized company representative with phone number. Quoter shall provide the information required by FAR 52.212-1. If the end product(s) quoted is other than domestic end product(s) as defined in the clause entitled "Buy American Act -- Supplies," the quoter shall so state and shall list the country of origin. The Representations and Certifications required by FAR 52.212-3 may be obtained via the internet at www.arnet.gov/far. FAR 52.212-2, FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5, FAR 52.232-33 are applicable and the identified clauses are incorporated by reference. Quoters must provide completed copies of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications -- Commercial Items with their quote. Vendors must be approved and registered in the Central Contractor Registration (www.ccr2000.com) before award can be made. While price may be a significat factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price and technical requirements.
