Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number FA4416-00-T0580 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This is a 100% small business set aside. The SIC code is 7537. The size standard is $5.0. Description: Contractor shall provide and install an Automatic Transmission Flush and Refill machine with an Inject-A-Flush Apparatus, which will be used to help recycle used automatic transmission fluid at the 89 Transportation Squadron, Andrews AFB MD. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, " Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and addenda's. FAR 52.237.1 Site Visit and FAR 52.228-5 Insurance -- Work on a Government Installation, is applicable to this acquisition. The provision FAR 52-212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items is applicable to the solicitation and the blanks in (a) are completed as follows: Price and Past Performance. Offerors shall include with their offers, a completed copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items; FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items is applicable to this solicitation. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items is applicable and the following clauses are checked: 52.232.33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration and 52.222-41 Service Contract Act of 1965, as amended (41 U.S.C. 351, et seq.). DFARs clause 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration is applicable to the solicitation.
