Background "Wright Patterson AFB's ASC/FMCE intends to issue a purchase order, on a sole-source basis under the authority of 13.106-1(b). to Galorath Inc., 100 N. Sepulveda Blvd. Suit 1801, El Segundo, Ca 90245 for SEER Parametric Cost Estimating Models. Galorath, Inc., is the only know contractor who can provide SEER parametric cost estimating models for use on the Acquisition portion of the Integrated Desktop Analysis and Planning System Concept Evaluation (ICE) tool.****This is a combined Synopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested from Galorath, Inc, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number F33601QX253 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) using simplified acquisition procedures. The North American Industry Classification System or NAICS number of 541511. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-18. The period of performance for this requirement is for one year, with four (4) one-year options, beginning on 1 Dec 00 through 30 Nov 01. See attached word documents for CLIN structure and Statement of Work. Evaluation of the options shall not obligate the Government to exercise the option. The Government anticipates awarding a firm-fixed price Purchase Order on or before 1 December 2000. The vendor shall deliver CLIN 0001, FOB Destination to WPAFB, ASC/FMCE, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. All responsible sources shall provide written documentation stating that they are authorized by Galorath, Inc. to provide the needed software and support along with their fax quotation, which shall be considered by the Specialized Contracting Branch Of Wright-Patterson AFB. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Contracting Officer.
