Description

The Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed price contract for a six axis articulated robot arm with controller. This is combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a quotation is being requested and a separate written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-01-T-0003. The robot arm shall operate with 6 degrees of freedom, carry a maximum reach of 2,100 millimeters, and maintain a repeatability of +/- .15 millimeters. This is a small business set-aside, the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this acquisition is 333999; small business size standard: 500 employees.
