Description

Eglin AFB has a requirement to Repair Control Tower, Building 2300, Eglin AFB, FL. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials to accomplish the above requirement. The work will consist of the replacement of metal panels, lonvers, stud framing gypsum wall board, finishing batt and rigid board insulation, vapor barrier and all required subframing for the metal panel system. Note: This facility is a primary flight control tower for Eglin AFB, and must be operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week, during the entire construction process. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials and equipment in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. The lump sum contract price shall include the cost of performing the work as shown on the drawing and as specified hereafter. The estimated dollar range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. Performance period is 180 calendar days. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered by the Agency. THE QUOTE CLOSING DATE OF 5 FEBRUARY 2001 IS AN ESTIMATED DATE. Firms responding shall indicate if they are interested in this project as a prime or a subcontractor; contractors must reply either by facsimile at (850) 882-9442/1014, Attention Ms Lillie Alford-Loggins or by e-mail, lillie.loggins@eglin.af.mil. THIS IS A PAPERLESS ACUISITION.
