Description

It is the intention of this solicitation to obtain preventive maintenance and repair of the public address systems at various buildindgs and locations at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, CT by means of a combination firm fixed price/indefinite quantity contract. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all labor, management, supervision, test equipment and test supplies necessary to perform the periodic inspection, testing and maintenance of the public address systems as described in the specification. This solicitation contains a base period and four 12-month option periods to be exercised by the Government if found to be in its best interests. The options may be exercised without further notice. FAR Clause 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services will be included in this solicitation. The NAICS (SIC)is 811213 Communication Equipment Repair and Maintenance and has a small Business Standard of $5.0 million. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) package will be available on the Internet. The address for downloading this solicitation from the Internet is: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil. Downloading from the Internet is free of charge. All prospective offerors should register on the NAVFAC Electronic Solicitation Internet Website (www.esol.navfac.navy.mil) for this project by clicking on the Entrance Button to access and then create an account.
