Description

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Water seeks to award a fixed-price purchase order for analytical support services for a single sampling episode for the Meat Products Industry. EPA requires approximately 16 analyses for malathion, stirofos, and dichlorvos by EPA Method 1657; cis- and trans-permethrin by EPA Method 1660; and carbaryl by EPA Method 632. EPA will use the analytical data provided under this purchase order to develop industrial effluent discharge regulations that govern the disposal of pollutants from Meat Products Industry sources; therefore, data produced under this purchase order must be of highest possible quality. Laboratories will be required to employ a comprehensive quality assurance program, meet facilities and equipment requirements, and provide personnel that demonstrate technical expertise in analytical chemistry techniques. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency. Request for Proposal Number PR-CI-01-11624 will appear on the Internet.
