THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF ROAD AND FILL REPAIRS AND DRAINAGE. LENGTH IS 440 METERS FOR CA ERFO 7-4(8), MENDOCINO SLIDE REPAIR IN THE MENDOCINO NATIONAL FOREST, GLENN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE IS BETWEEN $1,000,000 AND $5,000,000. PRINCIPLE WORK ITEMS: CONTRACTOR TESTING, 18,500 CU METERS ROADWAY EXCAVATION; 1,400 CU METERS SUBEXCAVATION; 45 EA GROUND ANCHORS; 150 SQ METERS ALTERNATE RETAINING WALL; 700 T AGGREGATE BASE/ 600 T MINOR HOT ASPHALT CONCRETE; 229 METERS FABRICATED STEEL PIKE IN PLACE; 36 CU METERS TREATED STRUCTURAL TIMBER AND LUMBER; 220 METERS DRILLED HOLE FOR PIKE 915mm DIA; 74 CU METERS CONCRETE; 70 METERS 900mm PIPE CULVERT; 60 METERS STONE COLUMN; 900 METERS HORIZONTAL DRAIN PIPE; 70 CU METERS LEAN CONCRETE BACKFILL; 120 METERS G4 CLASS A GUARDRAIL; 11,000 SQ METERS HYDRAULIC SEEDING, HYDRAULIC MULCHING, EROSION CONTROL MAT TYPE 2. PLANHOLDERS LISTS, WHEN POSTED, CAN BE OBTAINED FROM CFLHD WEB SITE (www.clfhd.gov) The Department of Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has programs to assist minority, women-owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short-term working capital and bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is applicable to any eligible prime or subcontractor at any tier. The DOT Bonding Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, performance and payment bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an 80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are also available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
