Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk, VA 23511-3392 intends to solicit comments and identify interested parties for an OMB Circular A-76 Commercial Activity Study. The offer determined to represent the best value to the Government will be compared to the Government's proposal to perform said services. The intent of the study is to determine the most efficient and cost effective method of providing an Automated Information Services (AIS) to Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Norfolk (NNSY), and it's customers. Services include, but are not limited to providing personnel, supervision, management, materials, services, equipment, communications, facilities, training and other items and services (except such materials, services, equipment, communications, facilities, and training provided by the Government). The Service Provider shall operate the automated data processing (ADP) computer center and ADP systems on Government-Owned Equipment, at the Computer Center NNSY. The Service Provider shall insure that the computer center and systems are maintained and operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. The service provider shall adhere to a production schedule located in the Computer Room. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 514210. The performance period includes a base year and four one year option periods. The anticipated contract type is Firm Fixed Price (FFP). The solicitation will be available on 27 February 2001 for downloading from the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) http:// www.neco.navy.mil.
