Description

The Air Armament Center, Eglin AFB, FL, intends to award a firm fixed price contract for a milling machine, DMG Model MH 700C to support the 46TW, Bldg 33. This is a sole source contract to DMG America, Inc., 13509 South Point Blvd., Charlotte, NC 28273. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items, and supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written request for quotation will not be issued. The solicitation number for this announcement is F08651-01-T-0012. The government intends to trade-in(exchange) a current Milling Machine, Model MH700C, Serial # 76466, ERRC: NF3. The new machine specifications are as follows: Movements x axis(700mm); y axis(450mm); z axis(500mm). Spindle speed: 20-3150rpm. Feed rate: 1-3000mm/min. Quick rate x/z/y 10/10/6 m/min accessories included, NC rotary table 0 500mm. Chip pan, and CNC 432 control. This property is offered as exchange or trade-in under the exchange provisions of the Federal Property and Administrative Act of 1949, as amended, and DODI 4140.51. Category 18 as listed in AFMAN 23-110, Vol. II, Part Two, Chapter 9, attachments 9N1 & 9N2 allows trade in of these item. This item is to be delivered to , Bldg. 33(MHU),Eglin AFB FL on an FOB Destination basis. This requirement is for Full and Open Competition using the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 333512 with a small business size standard of 500 employees. Please identify if you are a small or a large business based on the size standard. Offerors must state prices for the new item without any exchange and for the new item with the exchange (trade-in allowance) for the exchange property listed.
