Description

Eglin AFB FL has a requirement for Install Backflow Devices, Phase IX, Eglin AFB FL. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials in connection with the installation of backflow preventers in the potable and fire protection water service lines to the facilities indicated on the drawings. In general, work consists of installing double check and reduced pressure backflow preventers at existing buildings. Outdoor installations will require an enclosure. The facilities to be included in this contract and related information pertinent to each, are as shown on the project drawings. There are a total of 54 devices at 53 facilities. The location of the work is Eglin AFB FL. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. Performance period is 125 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $25,000 and $100,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Quote Closing of 30 April 2001 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the Request for Quote will be available on the Federal Government's Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). No response to this notice is necessary, and no Source List will be maintained. See Note 26.
