Description

Eglin AFB FL has a requirement for Renovate Portion of Building 1, Eglin AFB FL. THIS IS A "TRADE-OFF" (PERFORMANCE PRICE TRADE-OFF) ACQUISITION. Award will be made based upon the "Best Value" to the Government in accordance with FAR 15.101. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the lowest proposed price. This project includes furnishing all plant, labor, equipment and materials in connection with the work consisting of the following: Architectural: to renovate approximately 3059 square feet of space in building 12 for new office use. Mechanical: to provide complete air conditioning and plumbing systems for new office area. Air conditioning system will reuse existing system and provide new ductwork and Electrical: to provide complete lighting, power, communications, fire alarm and other auxiliary systems in accordance with user requirements. The location of the work is Eglin AFB FL. The above general description of work does not in any way limit the responsibility of the contractor to perform all work and furnish all labor, materials, and equipment complete in accordance with the plans and specifications. Performance period is 60 calendar days. Estimated dollar range is between $100,000 and $250,000. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Quote Closing of 16 May 2001 IS ONLY AN ESTIMATED DATE. This is a paperless acquisition. Paper copies of the solicitation will not be issued but the Request for Quote will be available on the Federal Government's Electronic Posting System (www.eps.gov). No response to this notice is necessary, and no Source List will be maintained. See Note 26.
