Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has a requirement for the following: Wiping Cylinders ten (10) each, for use on Intaglio I-10A Presses for the Washington, D. C. facility. Note: A signed Non-disclosure form shall be signed and delivered to the Contract Specialist prior to the BEP releasing Drawings, which detail the specifications of the wiping cylinders. A copy of the drawings will be provided to Offerors who make a written request. Contractors will be furnished a sample wiping cylinder upon written request, which remains Government Property and shall be returned to the BEP within thirty (30) days of receipt. Contractors who request sample Wiper Cylinders shall be responsible for return shipping charges. The BEP intends to issue a Firm-fixed price purchase order to the offeror who offers the overall best value to the Government. The contractor shall be required to submit one (1) Wiper Cylinder for Successful (First Article) testing and evaluation prior to fulfillment of the order. This Procurement is a Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is as follows: 421490, Other Professional Equipment and Supplies Wholesalers, the small business size standard is 100 employees.
