Description

1. DESC: Grade JP8, Aviation Turbine Fuel, NSN: 9130-01-031-5816 2. MIL-DTL-83133E, dated April 1, 1993. 3. Purchase Program: 2.2B 4. Quantity and Mode: 13,800,000 US gallons by Tanker, Barge, Truck, and Pipeline. 5. Requirements are for Puget Sound, WA, Fort Lewis, Tacoma, WA, and McChord AFB, Tacoma, WA. 6. Delivery Period: Aug 1, 2001 through Sep 30, 2001. 7. Approximately 37% is being set aside for small business. 8. Copies of the Inland/West soliciation (SPO600-00-R-0161) to which this supplemental solicitation is tied, are available via the World Wide Web at the Defense Energy Support Center Homepage (www.desc.dla.mil). 9. Copies of this supplemental wire solicitation to SP0600-00-R-0161 will be sent to all responsible firms who offered under the Inland/West solicitation to the West Coast area. 10. Request for copies of this supplemental solicitation must be submitted by FAX (703-767-9269, ATTN: DESC-BZC, RFP SP0600-00-R-0161-0003. 11. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. 12. Offerors that have not previously submitted an offer under SP0600-00-R-0161 are required to complete, sign and return the document entitled "Offer Submission Package" (available on the web) to the DESC Bid Custodian. 13.
