Description

This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes only the solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is M6700101Q0016. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-11. The proposed acquisition is a small business set-aside. The standard industrial classification (SIC) code for this requirement is 5039/44419 and the small business size standard is 100 employees. Item #0001: Installation of one (1) lot of chain-link partitions, cages and gates to be delivered, fabricated and installed in a building aboard Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. Contractor to coordinate on Site visit with responsible Government representative. Delivery to be 60 days from date of award. FOB Destination to Freight Traffic Branch, Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC 28542. Quotes other than FOB Destination will be rejected. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-3 Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders Commercial Items, DFARS 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items, DFARS 252.225-7000 Buy American Act-Balance of Payments Program Certificate, and DFARS 252.212-7000 Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. "OFFEROR SHALL PROVIDE COMPLETED COPIES OF FAR 52.212-3 AND DFARS 252.225-7000 WITH THEIR QUOTE. The Offeror is required to provide their Contractor's DUNS Number and Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code with their quote. The CAGE code entered must be for that name and address provided by the Contractor. DFAR 252.204-7004 (mar 1998) Offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR). Offerors must be registered prior to receiving an award for this acquisition or for any future awards. Evaluation for award will be based on price and past performance.
