This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number FA4416-01-RA063 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-19. This is a 100% small business set aside. The SIC code is 3315. The size standard is 1000. Description: Contractor shall provide (1) chain link fence, 9 gauge wire galvanized 48' high x 50' per roll 450 ea, (2) line post 6' x 2" OD, gauge, 2000ea, (3) Top rail, non-swedged, 10' 6"x 1'-3/8" OD, gauge 2000ea, (4) gates 42 x 48 gauge 150ea, (5) Alum. Cut-ties, packaged, 100 per bag, gauge 200ea, (6) carriage bolts, galvanized 100 per box 5/16" x 1-1/4" gauge 50ea, (7) carriage bolts, galvanized 100 per box 3/8"x2" gauge 350ea, (8) carriage bolts, galvanized 100 per box 3/8x3", gauge 350ea. The delivery will be FOB destination with a delivery date of 26 April 2001. NOTE: AWARDEE SHALL PROVIDE A SAMPLE OF (1) EACH TOP RAIL POST AND TERMINAL POST. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, " Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items and addenda's. The provision FAR 52-212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items is applicable to the solicitation and the blanks in (a) are completed as follows: Price and Past Performance. Offerors shall include with their offers, a completed copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items; FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items is applicable to this solicitation. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, FAR 52.228-5 Insurance -- Work on a Government Installation, is applicable to this acquisition. The following clauses are checked: 52.232.33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration and 52.222-41 Service Contract Act of 1965, as amended (41 U.S.C. 351, et seq.).
